C&L Steel Inc. was built on a foundation of technical mastery and a lifelong legacy in the trade. I began welding at age 10 and was installing structural steel by 18, developing an intuitive understanding of the craft that most only see on paper. This hands-on upbringing, combined with a Civil Engineering degree, allows me to bridge the gap between complex blueprints and field execution. After a rapid ascent from Project Engineer to Senior Project Manager, I founded C&L Steel in 2019 to provide the high-level coordination and precision the industry was missing. Today, we use that lifetime of expertise to solve structural "puzzles" during the drafting phase—preventing on-site problems before they ever happen. We aren't just fabricators; we are your technical partners in building permanent structures with predictable results.

HOW WE WORK WITH YOU

Our 4-Phase Process

We run a structured, coordinated process from kickoff to punch list. Every phase has clear inputs, outputs, and communication standards, so you know exactly where the project stands at all times and can plan your site accordingly.

1. Preconstruction + Shop
Drawings

Scope alignment, submittal schedule, and shop drawings produced through approval.
Small scopes: 3-5 days. Medium: 1-2 weeks.
Larger/complex: 2+ weeks.

2. Field Verification +
Procurement

We verify dimensions, embeds, tolerances, and access before procurement. This is how we prevent "it looked fine on paper"
problems from turning into jobsite delays.

3. Fabrication
+ Coating

Fabrication with internal QC. When
galvanizing or powder coating is required, we manage that step to protect finish quality and keep lead times realistic.

4. Delivery,
Mobilization + Install

Mobilization planned for efficiency. 14-day notice with prerequisites and access needs. 5-day confirmation to lock day/time and final coordination.
